From time to time we need a detox. Our hectic lifestyle can lead to poor nutrition due to the lack of time to prepare our food. That’s why I’m working on a 7-day challenge to detoxify our body and I’d love if you could do it with me. These 4 smoothies will help to prepare our body for those 7 days where we will pamper our body with a healthy plant based diet. Remember that you do not have to be a vegan to do this challenge, you can take it alone as an opportunity to take care of you and eat more healthy for a week.

Now let’s start with the smoothies!

Smoothie 1

For this first smoothy I used the following ingredients:

1 cup of grapes
1/3 cup of oatmeal
1 cup of watermelon
The juice of 1/2 lemon
The juice of 1 grapefruit
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
5 dates
1 tablespoon of chia

Process all the ingredients, except the chia that you will add when serving. Mix well. You can decorate with fruits like in the photo.

Smoothie 2

This I made it with:

2 cups of strawberries
A piece of ginger
10 almonds
1 cup of almond milk
5 dates
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon of chia

Process all the ingredients, except the chia that you will add when serving. Mix well. You can decorate with fruits like in the photo.

Smoothy number 3!

I made this delicious smoothie with the following ingredients:

1 cup of frozen berries
1 cup pineapple
1 red apple
3 tablespoons of agave syrup
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup of rice milk
1 tablespoon of chia

Process all the ingredients, except the chia that you will add when serving. Mix well. You can decorate with fruits like in the photo.

Smoothie 4

Finally this fantastic green smoothy I done it with:

1 Kiwi
3 large leaves of kale
1 bunch of spinach
2 sticks of celery
1/2 teaspoon of turmeric
1/2 teaspoon of pepper
a piece of ginger
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup of coconut water

Process all the ingredients and enjoy!
