These flat cakes are super easy and quick to make. I just got home from a trip today and I couldn’t  think of anything more fast and simple and also super tasty! You can eat them as hamburgers, in salads or just by itself; since this is  a very complete meal.

Chickpeas and spinach patties:


2 cups cooked and crushed chickpeas

1/2 cup of crushed carrot

1/2 cup of crushed peppers

1/2 cup of canned spinach

1/2 crushed purple onion

1/2 cup crushed oats (or oatmeal flour)

4 mint leaves

1 teaspoon of salt

1 teaspoon of oregano

1/2 teaspoon of ginger powder

1/2 teaspoon of pepper

1/2 teaspoon ofgarlic powder


Place all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well with a fork. Shape the patties  and take  to the oven at 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) for 35 minutes.
